A Soundmap walk, April 27, 2009
Here’s an interesting outdoor activity for you. I found this information at CESSA, The Concordia Electroacoustic Studies Student Association:
On Monday April 27th at 6:30 pm, we will meet outside of the Lionel Groulx metro station exit (620, av. Atwater) for a soundwalk. Andra McCartney will lead us around the Lachine Canal and through surrounding environments. The walk will be roughly 40 minutes long, and it will be followed by a discussion of each other’s listening experiences encountered during the walk.
The walk will be recorded and archived on the Montreal Sound Map.
