River surfing in Montreal

Have you ever thought of river surfing? I’ve heard that Montreal is one of the best spots for river surfing. Although it’s similar to ocean surfing, it’s different enough to be a challenge.
The cost is really getting the equipment you need, but if you don’t have equipment and want to give surfing a try, you can always go to Mountain Equipment Co-op to rent one for 10.00 for about 24 hours.
