Free Jazz Festival Concerts – July 2, 2009

And the Jazz festival in Montreal continues. Lots more free shows for you:
The Little School of Jazz again at 150 Ste-Catherine Street West, at 11:00 A.M and again at 1:30 P.M. If you miss them today, they’re back every day during the jazz festival.
Stage Band 2 La Riveraine at noon at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Jeanne-Mance
Fat Tuesday Brass at Hydro-Québec Park, corner Clark and Sainte-Catherine at 1 P.M.
Le Dixieband returns to Place des Arts Esplanade again at 1 P.M. and then at 4 P.M., you can find them at the door of the Complexe Desjardins,
Gadji-Gadjo at 2 P.M. at the Place des Arts esplinade and they come back again at 4:30 P.M.
Streetnix returns to Hydro-Québec Park, corner Clark and Sainte-Catherine at 3 P.M
Gypsophilia starts off the evening at 6 P.M. at the Scène General Motors
You’ll have to take your pick of 7 P.M. shows as these all start at 7:
Certified Organic Jazz Quartet at the Place des Arts esplinade
David Rotundo Band & Enrico Crivellaro at the corner of Président-Kennedy and De Maisonneuve – and they return to the scene at 11 P.M. too.
Nobuki Takamen at the corner De Bleury and De Maisonneuve – if you miss him this evening, he does make a second appearance tomorrow.
and
Vincent Gagnon who will be at Hydro-Québec Park, corner Clark and Sainte-Catherine.
Moving to 8 P.M. there’s,
Colin Hunter at the corner or Sainte-Catherine and Jeanne-Mance – he returns for another performance at 10 P.M.
and
Puerto Plata who is at the Clark parking.
Federico Aubele performs at 9 P.M. at the door of Complexe Desjardins, with a repeat performance at 11 P.M.
