MeetIn: A Way to Meet People

I found an interesting group that encourages meeting people and getting out – not a dating service or anything like that. It’s called MeetIn.

I don’t know anything about it other than what I read on the site, but it looks like a great way to get out and socialize, and to get to try new things. Their activities range from French-English Exchange groups, where one hour is devoted to speaking English (Francophones practice, English speakers help) and the next hour is reversed, with French conversation. There are walks in certain neighbourhoods and other types of events.
