Repercussion Theatre: Shakespeare in the Park, 2009 season

If you’ve not had a chance to see a Repercussion Theatre’s performance of the bard, here’s your chance again this year. It’s a fun evening and well worth the time and Shakespeare as you’ve never seen it before. This year, the group has taken on the challenge of presenting As You Like It.

Repercussion Theatre brings one of the bard’s most loved comedies to Montreal parks this summer during the 2009 Shakespeare-in-the-Park Tour.  Performances of As You Like It will feature the traditional folksy rhythms, music and dances that have entertained rural Québec for centuries, with Irish folk music and Quebecois step dancing.  This masked ball of a misadventure promises evenings filled with dance, music, laughter and of course, love.

Dates: July 23rd, 2009 to August 16th, 2009 (schedule and park locations below)

Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm although a few shows start earlier or later and there is a matinee in the middle of the season – check the schedule below for dates and times.
