What: Third Annual Harvest Fair
Where: Girouard Park in NDG, corner Girouard and Sherbrooke St. West
When: Sunday, August 30, 2009, from noon to 5 P.M.
Cost: Free
According to the Montreal Gazette, the event includes
acoustic music featuring Swift Years, Tim’s Myth, Fat Tuesday Brass Band, the Woodshredders, Pat Loiselle, Maica Mia, whistlepig, Jean Manning and Go Daddy.
There is also a garden show, tips for gardeners and the event has been declared a ‘zero waste’ event. All waste created during the day will be recycled, composted or reused.
