Here is another tip I received from Janis. I obtained permission from Courtney Wing’s publicity to reprint the email in its entirety. Please note that the digital album is only 5.00! (although more generous donations are always appreciated) and the CDs, which will be available online and at shows, will sell for 10.00. The launch show on the 25th is FREE.

Digital Album Release – February 15th

hello all,

I am happy to announce that in one week, February 15th, my new album ‘Bouquet of Might & Fury’ will be released on Proxenett Records!

Since the way in which people consume music these days has mostly shifted into a virtual realm, we thought we would hoist the sails and ship the album right into your media players by way of digital download. In this format, we would like to offer the entire album as well as a bundle of my drawings and scribblings that include lyrics and liner notes all for a mere minimum of 5$ – though generous donations are most appreciated : )

And for your tangible senses, we have put together a limited number of very crafty CD packages that were hand-made with lovely recycled card stock and a 500 year old letter press. Very nice these are I must say. CD’s will sell for 10$ and will be available online and at live shows only – keep in mind that ‘limited’ is the operative word here folks.

To celebrate the launch, I will be playing an album release party with my band and the Liederwolfe Opera Collective on Thursday, February 25th, at my favorite Montreal venue La Sala Rossa. Please attend and invte your friends as this is a free event for all. Details below:
