If you enjoy tasting wine and spirits, like cognac, this is a must-do that comes to Montreal every two years. The cost is very reasonable, considering the wine you get to taste and the new flavours you may end up discovering.
It is also fun to chat with the people who are selling the wine. They are very knowledgeable and make the experience fun and educational. You get to learn about the differences between the wines, why and how they taste differently, and many other things.
The initial entrance fee is 15.00, but it goes down to 13.00 if you have a group of 20 or more people. As well, if you want to visit it each day, a 4-day passport is 40 dollars, which comes out to 10.00 per day. The entrance fee includes tax and gives you a wine glass for the tasting and to keep, if you want.
Once there, you buy tickets to taste the various wines and spirits. The wines cost anywhere from 2 to many, many tickets, depending on the quality and history behind the drinks. Remember, because of the alcohol, it is an 18 years and over event.
