Have you heard of International Free Comic Book Day? No? Well now you have.
According to the Free Comic Book Day website:
Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May each year – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE* to anyone who comes into their stores. *Check with your local shop for their participation and rules.
To find one closest to you, go to the location page. Don’t be fooled – Canada isn’t considered international. Just type in your postal code and you will provided with participating comic book shops in your area. The ones closest to me are:
