I’m often asked if I know of any affordable or inexpensive places to stay in Montreal. I am usually hesitant to recommend any particular place unless I receive a good report from someone I know. After all, I could just as easily Google for a place but that doesn’t mean it’s a place I would like to recommend.
Anyway, I now have a place to recommend that is in the Latin Quarter – very close to fun stuff to do and centrally located. While it’s not “dirt cheap,” it’s definitely less expensive than many other Montreal hotel options. My friend tells me it was good value for the money. She did have one word of warning though – if you have a room facing the street, on Friday night, it can be quite loud.
