They now offer a 10% discount on your drinks if you bring your own mug. Check out their Facebook page too for deals and celebrations to mark their two years in the NDG community. While places like Second Cup, Starbucks, Java U and all the other chains have their place, nothing beats a corner coffee shop that offers amazing coffee and great food – all at a decent place.

What:

Cafe 92°

A coffee shop owned by two women from Mexico, Claudia Vega and Maria Grajales, and a third partner, Reda Wahba.

What they serve:

Besides delicious coffee, they serve the typical coffee shop drinks and they have a lovely selection of teas. Their food has a Mexican influence, as well as sandwiches and lovely homemade soups. Their pastries are excellent as well.

Mon – Fri: 7:00 am – 9:30 pm; Sat – Sun: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

Cost:

Very reasonable. A lunch for two, including a hearty soup, a roast beef sandwich and coffee, including tax, came out to about 20.00. A coffee alone is 1.50 plus tax.

Free WiFi too.
