McGill’s Gilbert & Sullivan’s Ruddigore: Feb. 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 2011.
The McGill Savoy Society, the oldest student-run Gilbert & Sullivan group in Canada, presents
Ruddigore; or the Witch’s Curse at Moyse Hall, Arts Building, McGill University (853 Sherbrooke
St. West), on February 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, and 19th at 19h30 and the 12th and 19th at 14h.
Gilbert andSullivan’s uproariously funny tenth operetta, Ruddigore, is
c
oming to McGill in all its faux-Gothic majesty. The heir to the baronetcy of Ruddigore is cursed to commit an evil deed daily, or else die in anguish.
The new Lord of Ruddigore, Robin Oakapple, doesn’t quite buy all this and wants to make some fundamental changes. Robin runs into difficulties when the ghosts of Ruddigore-baronets-past arrive.
Cost: $12 for students, $20 for regular admission,
Note the special on “Senior Saturday” when matinée tickets are $12.
Tickets may be reserved:
