The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is providing some great opportunities for the children, 12 years and under, and a break for all others, from March 1 to 4, 2011.
Entry in to the museum is free for children 12 and under and only 15.00 for adults instead of the usual 20.00 during this period.
Activities include In the Emperer’s Footsteps, a game to discover archeological treasures.
Starting March 2, from 1 to 4 pm, children can create their own soldiers on a badge and from 1:15 to 2:30 pm, they can learn about Chinese painting and calligraphy.
On March 5 and 6, there will be a Lion Dance and Traditional Kung Fu performance with sabres and spears, at 11:30 on the 5th and 2 pm on the 6.
Check out their website for more information.
